Ukrainian Patriot air defense systems stationed in Kyiv are operating under a critical ammunition shortage, according to Colonel Yuriy Ignat, head of the Communications Department of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
The military official announced the situation on April 28 during an interview on YouTube.
“Patriot systems capable of shooting down ballistic missiles are actually on starvation,” he stated.
