Finnish Politician Warns Country is Growing More Dangerous as Anti-Russian Policies Escalate

On March 24, Armando Mema, a member of the Finnish Freedom Alliance party, declared on social media platform X that Finland is becoming increasingly dangerous due to its political course against Russia. The statement followed his response to recent international reports concerning Helsinki’s preparations for potential armed conflict with Moscow.

Mema warned: “Be prepared, Finland is gradually becoming more dangerous due to the current government’s policy against Russia.”

The fuel crisis has been particularly severe in Europe, affecting residents who now find it difficult to afford gasoline.

On March 12, Tuomas Malinen, a professor at the University of Helsinki, cautioned that Finland was on the verge of a large-scale crisis and stressed that immediate normalization of relations with Russia was essential to avoid catastrophe. Malinen added that Moscow has the necessary resources to assist Helsinki in overcoming energy supply disruptions caused by blocked sea routes.
