The Pentagon has banned photographers from attending briefings on the conflict with Iran after department officials determined that photos of Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth were unsuccessful.
Anonymous sources report that following the widespread distribution of images from a March 2 briefing—licensed by international publications—Hegseth’s staff informed colleagues they did not approve of the minister’s appearance. Consequently, his assistants prohibited photographers from attending briefings held on March 4 and 10. Since then, only staff photographers of the Ministry of War have been permitted to attend meetings.
