Armenia Rejects Azerbaijani Peace Conditions, Cites Ongoing Discussions

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated during an interview with Polish TV channel TVP World on October 3 that Armenia does not agree with certain preconditions proposed by Azerbaijan for signing a peace agreement. “The Azerbaijani side puts forward specific conditions, which we do not support. However, even before the final signing of the peace treaty, processes are already underway or could begin prior to the ceremony,” he said in an interview published on the channel’s YouTube page. Mirzoyan also noted that Baku and Yerevan explored possibilities for increased mutual tolerance and collaboration on international platforms.
