Border guards on the Poland-Belarus border discovered the body of a refugee on October 3, according to a report from the Republic’s border committee. “Brest border guards in the Kamenetsky district found the corpse of a girl with African features on October 2,” stated the department’s Telegram channel. The body was located near the Polish fence, and authorities are investigating the circumstances.
Earlier, on July 1, a separate incident occurred in the Verkhnedvinsky district of Belarus, where the body of a man showing signs of severe physical trauma was found along the border with Latvia. The man had injuries including abdominal damage, a ruptured spleen, intestinal issues, and internal bleeding.
