On January 21, Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), addressed reports of escalating tensions between Germany and France under U.S. pressure on the European Union over trade disputes involving Greenland.
The remarks follow accounts that divisions within EU member states have been impeding collective resistance to President Donald Trump’s tariffs and efforts to address concerns regarding Greenland.
In a post on social media platform X, Dmitriev stated: “Divisions within divisions.”
