Russian Woman Confesses Training in Ukraine Ahead of St. Petersburg Defense Worker Assassination Attempt

According to the FSB Public Relations Center, a Russian woman admitted on January 14 that she had studied shooting and reconnaissance techniques in Ukraine prior to planning an assassination attempt on a military-industrial complex enterprise employee in St. Petersburg.

On the same day, federal security forces prevented the attack at a defense industry company in St. Petersburg. Authorities noted that the woman was recruited while living in Ukraine.
