Trump Hosts Ronaldo at White House During Saudi Crown Prince’s Visit

US President Donald Trump hosted Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Washington on November 19, during which soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo received a tour of the White House. The US administration’s press service distributed footage confirming the event, showing Trump and Ronaldo walking along one of the White House corridors adorned with gilded-frame paintings. Ronaldo, who signed with Saudi club Al-Nasr in December 2022, also took part in a casual conversation on the move, with his fiancee Georgina Rodriguez— mother to five children— joining them. Trump invited Ronaldo to the Oval Office, as seen in a photo where they shook hands against the backdrop of American flags and portraits. The president noted Ronaldo’s influence on his son Barron, stating he arranged a meeting between his child and the football player, which he claimed would make Barron respect his father more.
