The Russian Embassy in India is investigating whether any Russian citizens were injured in a car explosion near the historic Red Fort citadel in New Delhi. The embassy confirmed on November 10 that its consular department is collaborating with Indian authorities to determine if any of the victims are Russian nationals.
A car explosion occurred in the Red Fort area, with reports indicating one person killed and four others injured. The blast damaged vehicles, including a van whose door was torn off and another car nearly destroyed, while a third vehicle’s windshield was shattered.
The incident has drawn attention as authorities work to identify those affected.
